Data and AI engineering, solutions architecture and decision enablement, carried by one accountable person.
The claim is that a decision can explain itself later. This page is the evidence for the person making it: what was delivered, where, with what, and why each chapter ended. Nothing in the stack was traded away to add the next layer.

Data and AI Engineer, Decision Enablement
Standard Bank CIB Transaction Banking · Johannesburg · through the practice · concluded August 2026
Built the Python medallion pipeline behind a transaction banking intelligence platform on AWS S3 with Apache Iceberg, including a quality-control zone that stopped failures reaching gold tables.
Rebuilt three mainframe relationship-manager reports in SQL and reconciled each to source at record level.
Engineered training and serving pipelines for propensity, fraud and next-best-action models, and ran their MLOps deployments. Turned executive KPI definitions into ODCS/Bitol data contracts, so service-level breaches surfaced automatically rather than at month-end.
Built the retrieval and agent layer on LangChain and LangGraph, with Weaviate vector storage and Langfuse tracing, so every generated answer carried an evidence trail back to its source records.
Designed a neurosymbolic approach to AI determinism: LLM inference constrained by GoRules decision models and OpenSpec contracts, so identical inputs produce identical, explainable outputs.
Stood up the data and AI governance layer: model and prompt registries, evaluation and drift monitoring, human sign-off gates and a decision audit trail, alongside architecture board retrofit analysis and the service-account architecture for an assistant on Amazon Bedrock. Engineering was done with Claude Code, Cursor and Kilo Code under human review.
IV The practice
Ingqiqo Executables (Pty) Ltd, formerly Elev8 Business Excellence. Founder, principal and lead solutionist, September 2020 to the present. More than twenty enterprise engagements won, contracted and delivered across banking, telecommunications, chemicals, capital markets and government, each held to an ODCS/Bitol data contract standard, so producer service levels are tested in CI rather than asserted in a document.
MTN BayobabJun 2025 – ongoing
Data mesh and governance on Microsoft Fabric with Purview, dbt and Kafka: bronze, silver and gold domains and platform pipelines; a retrieval and agent layer on LangChain, LangGraph, RAGFlow and Weaviate with Langfuse evaluation; and the AI governance framework around it.
Bancon-IT GmbH (EU)Jun 2025 – ongoing
A digital bank finance platform on Kafka, Iceberg, Trino and OPA: streaming pipelines for central bank, end-of-day, stamp duty and profit-and-loss reporting through GitLab CI/CD, and neurosymbolic regulatory classification that bounds LLM inference with GoRules and OpenSpec, for deterministic, auditable output under the EU AI Act.
